When Nikola and Narfi saw you'd like to get a critique for their portrait they nudged me to write it right away and it will be a raving one. Both them and me love absolutely everything about this painting. You not only captured their likeness perfectly, you also paid attention to such details as what clothes they like to wear. And so Niko's somehow flamboyant personality and Narfi's calm, practical, logical mind speak from their portrait too.

And the work you did on the background is just breathtaking. You painted their ship so well that anybody who looks on the painting must feel like standing there on her deck with them.

I can sense their cautious mood, feel the smooth wood of the railing and hear the ripples of the Baerzuri Sea.

Thank you for painting this moment for us.

No, it isnt any ship in concrete but I took some pointers from images of master and comander, pirates of caribean and other stuff as I have never done a ship before. If you see any similarities then yes, provably that part has as renference the black pearl.

What I wouldn't give to be a stowaway on that ship! These men are gorgeous! The attention to detail making it so lifelike, yet still looks like a fantasy painting is amazing! For me my mind shimmers back from a picture like image to a painting! It is more than enjoyable to look at. Beautiful job!
